I got into a car accident at 15 because I was antagonized by a kid and tried to scare him by pretending to hit him, but I couldn’t slam on my breaks and drove my car into the river. I go unconscious and wake up 2 years later, having continued to go about my life but not remembering anything from those 2 years. I awaken in a restaurant that my family suddenly owns that doesn’t exist that’s by the river I fell in and I’m surrounded by my friends and family celebrating some unknown event. I go outside and see that a city has appeared in the other side of the river and a sign for a Marvel movie called “vision: hope” is visible. I go outside the restaurant to a sitting area and talk to my sister and her boyfriend and we talk about how I missed the hype for all the movies I didn’t remember. I look back inside at my friends and family and feel sad. I then think to ask my sister and her boyfriend if I’ve found love yet but I wake up
Dreams involving car accidents often symbolize feelings of loss of control or anxiety about the direction your life is taking. In your dream, the accident when you were 15, especially as a result of attempting to scare someone else, could suggest unresolved feelings about peer dynamics or incidents from your youth that left a mark on you. The river can symbolize emotions, change, or a journey—perhaps representing a significant transition or interruption in your life. Waking up two years later with amnesia indicates a period of your life that feels lost or undefined, which could relate to feelings of missing out on key experiences or personal growth. The restaurant your family owns near the river represents a new phase or opportunity that has arisen from what was once a traumatic experience. Restaurants are places of gathering, nourishment, and celebration, suggesting that even amid uncertainty, there is potential for happiness and connection. Seeing the new city across the river and the Marvel movie sign could symbolize new possibilities and experiences that have emerged during your subconscious absence—perhaps your mind is reflecting on missed opportunities or developments in your life that you feel disconnected from. The conversation with your sister and her boyfriend highlights a desire for connection and an acknowledgment of what you may have missed, reinforcing feelings of sadness or regret. Asking about love before waking could indicate longing for companionship or connection in your life. This desire could reflect feelings about relationships you've missed or the importance of love and connection that you are seeking to acknowledge or achieve. Overall, this dream captures themes of loss, missed opportunities, emotional transitions, and a quest for connection and understanding, suggesting some introspection about your past, present, and future relationships and experiences.
